The Alzheimer’s Association will host a free virtual educational conference for individuals living with Alzheimer’s and dementia and their families. The Family Conference will take place March 1 & 2, and is open to individuals living with Alzheimer’s, family caregivers and the general public. Live translation in Spanish will be offered both days. Participants are welcome to just join for individual sessions or the whole conference.
Hear from a panel of individuals living with Alzheimer’s, as well as caregivers who will share firsthand experiences in their journey with the disease and life after a diagnosis. The schedule of programs features A Time of Hope: Advances in Treatment and Modifiable Risk Factors, Maximizing Independence: Tips and Strategies to Organize Your Space and Home, Using Art and Mindfulness to Care for Yourself, and Creating Meaningful Engagement with Memory Boxes.
